Successful musicians today need to know so much more than how to play an instrument. As an artist or bandleader, it's on you to manage rehearsals, organize shows, run recording sessions, and so much more.

In this free course, our favorite multi-bandleader and music director, Carter Lee, offers you a bunch of tools for upping your game. Become the effective and efficient leader your bandmates always dreamed of playing with.

Learn the importance of networking, tips on starting your own jam session and discuss effective rehearsal strategies. You can also download a gig checklist so you don’t forget anything when you pack up your gear and hit the road.

Heading into the studio? Learn important studio terms so you’ll be ready before you walk through the control room doors. Not sure what a baffle or a gobo is used for, or why clipping is a bad thing? Don’t worry — you will after you complete this course. Start today to build a better band and take control of your musical journey.
